There comes a time in every alphabet (or at least in ours), when a letter has no archetypes to stand by its side. No words to represent. And “X” is it. The X-ception to the rule and an X-citing opportunity to salute the X-ceptional people in our lives who run the gamut of archetypes A to Z and rock our world with uncountable blessings.
If you’ve been delving into Archetypeme.com and taken the quiz to discover who you really are, you have placed yourself on a wonderful path of transformation. (And if you haven’t, what are you waiting for? Discover today who you truly are!) Learning who you are is just the beginning of creating a happier, more powerful life that truly fits the authentic you. If you’ve joined us, it’s likely you’ve had some hefty “ah-ha” moments regarding the true personalities and strengths of your friends. Maybe they are Creatives or Spirituals, Rebels and Fashionistas, or a combination of many. Maybe their personalities and your connections are becoming clearer: why some people turn you off while others feel instantly like kin. Maybe you’ve felt how, when they find each other, certain archetypes can believe in and create miracles.
I am honored to tell you about a few of those X-ceptional archetypal friends in my life. The ones who together create Team Archetype, without whom this miracle would have remained only an idea in this Visionary’s mind. These selfless, brilliant light bulbs are the heart and soul of everything you see, read, or like about the site. They carry the archetype of the future in their hearts and souls.
Creative/Visionary X-traordinaire. We call him the Creative offspring of the likes of Walt Disney and Steve Jobs, for starters. I know of few who are brighter, funnier, or have a better heart.
The Rainmaker archetype mixed with Visionary King. Andy is a benevolent leader. Without him, archetypes would never have come together.
And special mentions to X-traordinary writers:
The X-ceptional archetype of voice and reason. And I mean it. Her theology is as original as she is. Caroline changes lives, and she saves them.
The archetype of Everywoman. We love her because she is funny and I love her also because she is the most brilliant writer!
The archetype of insane Intelligence, Wit, and Creativity, Lisa is our editor-in-chief and cofounder of the Daily Me for Archetypes.com.
My favorite Creative/Rebel writer who helped give a voice to multiple projects written for archetypes.
Leah is the archetype of Muse. She is the famous author of the classic Annie Bannie series and one of my favorite books, Am I Old Yet? A special thank you to Leah for helping me craft the blogs you have come to know and love.
I am also lucky for those others who were the original crew and there at the starting gate… which is Y I name them below:
Y I am so lucky for Eunice? She is as smart as she is pretty and this gal is gorgeous! She personifies grace and poise and has been a constant for me and the team on our journey.
Y am I so lucky? Karl is a Visionary King, but it is his competitive Athlete that has fought through the ups and downs of a start-up and a start-over. Thank you, Karl.
I just call him “Dod.” Dave, I know we are not supposed to pick favorites, but you are one of mine for one simple reason: genius, kindness, and humility don’t often merge in one person. But in your case they do.
You sit on the hottest seat in the house and always keep your cool. For that you have my forever admiration.
You sit on the second hottest seat in the house, in the critical path of words and books. There is nothing easy about what you do. My wish for you is that you see that you have the talent and calling to write your own book one day.
Y I am so lucky is because I have you as the archetypes community organizer. Thank you for the music and the magic.
You started in customer service, grew into a role of quality assurance, and you’re doing an amazing job of leading that team.
Erin has just stepped up once again after building the in-house analytics to managing the design process of V3.0.
A special Y I am lucky and thanks to Andrew Yang for believing in miracles and turning them into dolls. You, Andrew, are truly a living doll! As are each of you in the lives of people whose lives you make lucky every day and those who bring that “luck” back to you. Whether you are aware of it or not!
The late novelist and poet C.S. Lewis wrote: “Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another, ‘What, you too? I thought I was the only one.’”
These are the X-ceptional relationships I have with all the people I just told you about. And I know I am not the only one.
Now it’s your turn! Please share an X-Ceptional friend of yours and their Archetypes that you love them for.
With grace and gratitude,
